We all enjoyed a little morning snow fun today!

Yesterday was a PD day for SDPC faculty. Teachers participated in sessions covering all kinds of topics. We were excited to have several EHS faculty members leading sessions to share their experiences and knowledge with others!

We are thankful each and every day for our SROs, but had to give them an extra shoutout for National SRO Day!

Today, we celebrate the incredible men and women who ensure our students travel safely to and from school each day. It's SC Bus Driver Appreciation Day, and we want to say THANK YOU to our SDPC bus drivers and assistants!
To truly capture the impact of our drivers, we spent time riding along on routes and speaking with two of our dedicated drivers—experiencing firsthand the joy, care, and commitment they bring to their work.

We will be opening The Green Envy Boutique again this year. This is our prom dress closet that allows anyone who needs a prom dress to get one. If you have prom dresses or shoes that you would be interested in donating, please reach out to ashleybaker@pickens.k12.sc.us. More information about shopping at the boutique will be coming soon!

Don't forget that Friday will be an eLearning Day!

Mrs. Wolff's class is bringing history to life by creating African tribal masks while studying African history. Through this hands-on project, students are exploring the deep cultural significance of masks in African traditions, learning how colors and designs represent different emotions, values, and beliefs. By connecting artistic expression with historical study, they gain a greater appreciation for the diversity and richness of African cultures. This immersive experience not only enhances their understanding of the past but also fosters creativity and a deeper connection to global traditions.
