Happy Spring Break!!!!

It's almost time for the Ides of March! What better way to commemorate it than by learning about Julius Caesar? Mrs. Scott's English 2 students have been working their way through an escape room to put their knowledge of Shakespeare's play to the test.

NEW course for 2025-26 school year! Feel free to add to your student's registration card prior to turning in tomorrow. If interested but you've already turned in your registration card to homeroom, please notify your counselor. We'll be happy to add this to your course selections for next school year.

If you are interested in robotics, PCCTC is forming a robotics team! There will be an interest meeting next Wednesday.

Ms. Tackett's Foods and Nutrition 1 students recently did their first lab - making chocolate chip cookies! Students do everything from prep to clean up when they cook in class.

If you have a chance, stop by EHS on Thursday evening to see some of the amazing artwork that students from all Easley area schools have created! Our arts hallway is full of gorgeous displays for you to enjoy!

We are so proud of our students of the month for February! Teachers nominated each of them for the amazing things they did in and out of the classroom this past month.

Get your prom tickets on MySchoolBucks! Just a reminder that prom is April 5th.

Rising 9th graders: Mark your calendars!

Our students are looking forward to this ongoing conversation they will be having over the coming weeks with Mayor Lisa Talbert and others who work within the City of Easley.

We recently shared that Mrs. Villano and her students were incubating some eggs. They began hatching and now the students get to observe their growth. This will lead to a future work-based learning project.

If you haven't ordered a yearbook, do it soon!

Congratulations to the winners of our door decorating contest for Black History Month!

Mrs. Smith and Mrs. Villano's students enjoyed a visit from Sheriff Blankenship last week. They enjoyed learning all about his job!

Mr. Adams and his AP Art History students took a recent trip to the Greenville County Museum of Art.

Mrs. Ear's English classes made their own websites as a way to use contextual evidence to make and promote attractions, gift shops, and food.

A quick update from the theatre department

This morning was our Black History Month Celebration assembly. This student-led event featured student announcers, singers, poetry readings, and our new school step team. EHS alum, Terry Smith, was awarded the Lasting Legacy Award, and we were blessed to hear from his son who accepted the award on his behalf. We also had the pleasure of listening to Dr. Ashley Anderson-Murray deliver the keynote speech of the event. Thank you to all students and teachers who took time to attend!
